So you ask, how does one build an affinity for bats and caves?
Well..................... It all started back when I was in middle school. My family got into the sport of caving. This involves crawling underground in the dark, mud, and with little flying creatures called bats.
To many, both caves and bats are feared. Caves are feared for being underground, known as the devil's lair, and for being very dangerous places. Bats are approached with contempt because many misunderstand them and think that all they do is suck human blood.
All of these are misconceptions and I will show you why.
